The platform

A complete AI grading & planning assistant.

Grade assignments, generate lesson plans, create worksheets, track student progress, and detect AI, all in one platform built for 6–12 teachers.

How it works

Three steps to effortless grading.

Get started in minutes. No complex setup, no learning curve.

01

Collect student work

Students take tests and complete assignments in the student portal, or drag & drop existing work (Word, PDF, photos). Either way it lands in Graider, ready to grade.

02

Configure your rubric

Set categories and points: Thesis 20 · Evidence & Analysis 35 · Organization 25 · Grammar & Style 20. Your voice, your standards.

03

Review & send

Review AI-generated grades and feedback, make any adjustments, then send to students with one click.

Why Graider

The only complete teaching loop.

No product on the market combines AI grading, diagnostic cause analysis, conversational data querying, and differentiated lesson recommendations in one tool.

01Grade
02Diagnose
03Query

Diagnostic cause analysis

Every competitor shows what the scores are. Graider answers why: rubric breakdowns reveal the weakest skills, unanswered-question detection shows what was skipped, and omission impact quantifies the cost. “Writing quality averaged 8.2/25; 61% left a section blank, costing ~13 points.”

Differentiated lesson recommendations

Analyzes actual student work, identifies specific weaknesses, cross-references curriculum standards filtered by DOK level, and recommends what to teach next, differentiated for advanced, standard, and support groups.

The complete teaching loop

CoGrader grades but has no analytics. Panorama has analytics but doesn’t grade. Gradescope helps workflows but has no AI chat. Graider grades, extracts the data, lets you interrogate it conversationally, and recommends what to teach next.

Why Graider wins

Head-to-head against Gradescope, CoGrader, Panorama Solara, SchoolAI / Brisk, and Renaissance Star, available to any teacher with a browser, no district contract required.

Loved by educators

Teachers are getting their weekends back.

See what teachers are saying about Graider.

Graider has completely transformed my workflow. I used to spend entire weekends grading essays. Now I have that time back for lesson planning and family.

Jennifer MartinezHigh School English Teacher

The feedback quality is remarkable. My students actually read and apply the suggestions. It’s like a teaching assistant that never gets tired and always maintains high standards.

Marcus BellHigh School Biology Teacher

I was skeptical about AI grading, but Graider impressed me. The custom rubric feature ensures grades match my exact standards. It’s not replacing teachers. It’s empowering us.

Careers

Help us give teachers their time back.

Most teachers lose five to seven hours a week to grading. We’re building the software that fixes that, and we’re hiring a few early people. The team is small, and the things you build get used in classrooms within weeks.

Full-time · Remote (US) · Sales

Founding Account Executive

You’d be our first sales hire. Turn the teachers who already love Graider into signed schools and districts. You run the whole cycle, and you work out what sells as you go.

What you’ll do

  • Run the full grades 6-12 sales cycle, from the first conversation with a teacher or district leader to a signed contract.
  • Grow single-teacher accounts into building-wide and district-wide deals.
  • Get through district procurement: pilots, FERPA reviews, rostering, and budget timing.
  • Tell the product team what districts keep asking for, and help decide what we build next.

What you bring

  • Three or more years closing SaaS, ideally into schools or districts.
  • You understand teachers and can win over a skeptical one in a single demo.
  • You’d rather act than wait, and ambiguity doesn’t slow you down.

Full-time · Remote (US) · Engineering

Full Stack Engineer

You’ll work across the whole stack: Python and Flask on the backend, React on the front end, the AI grading pipeline, and the integrations that connect Graider to schools. Your code reaches classrooms fast.

What you’ll do

  • Build features end to end across a Flask backend and a React (Vite) front end, backed by Supabase and Postgres.
  • Work directly with the LLM APIs we use (GPT-4o, Claude, and Gemini) on prompt pipelines, structured output, and multi-pass grading.
  • Extend the school integrations: Clever, ClassLink, OneRoster, and LTI 1.3.
  • Keep the grading path correct and FERPA-safe, with tests and fixes that get at the root cause.

What you bring

  • Three or more years building production web apps, comfortable on both backend and front end.
  • Strong Python and solid React and JavaScript.
  • You’ve made unreliable third-party APIs behave, and you like to leave work actually finished.
